The passive house “Westhafenkontor” in Frankfurt was awarded with the DGNB Certificate in Gold. The perfect elaborated concept of this building ensures sustainability on a very high level.
“The Westhafenkontor is energetic, highly efficient and innovative. It sets new standards in the real estate sector in relation to ecological thinking and operation.” With this words Prof. Dr. Ing. Dr. Ing. E.h. Werner Sobek, vice-president of the DGNB, allocated the Westhafenkontor with the certification in gold. The administration building for the Department of road traffic is the first completed new construction in Frankfurt am Main, which obtained the highest categorie of the DGNB.
